Thanks. I've missed playing my snes for the longyuest time. Now that I have this power cord I am able to go back to enjoying it.
Other than that this product works great. this does exactly what it is suppost to do. the only two problems i had out of it were: I wanted it to be a little cheaper in price, and two I wish there was someway to tuck the cord not being used out of the way better.
But, hey, it makes my SNES work so it getting hot isn't all that bad. The only complaint I have about this item is that it gets hot where it plugs in to the outlet. It even gets very hot when it is just plugged in and the SNES is not being used.
I searched online and found out that these "aftermarket" AC adapters cause this. I purchased this item to use to power my SNES unit. Buy the Nintendo brand power source, not this one. It DID power the unit, at the cost of obnoxious green lines. Unfortunately, when I went to play my favorite old games, there were large, blurry, green lines running down the screen. I thought the problem was with my RCA cables.
Thanks so much. Very happy to have found this adapter for my daughter's game system. The price is good and the shipping is fast.
